Dr. Gaurav Srivastava is an academician, researcher, and author with a strong foundation in commerce and finance. He is currently serving as Assistant Professor at St. Xavier’s College, Simdega, Jharkhand, where he has been actively involved in teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development.

Dr. Srivastava holds a Ph.D. in Commerce, which he completed under the esteemed guidance of Dr G.K Srivastava. His academic interests include financial literacy, human resource management, and employee compensation systems. With a student-centric approach to teaching, he is known for simplifying complex financial concepts and encouraging practical application of theoretical knowledge.

He is also the author of Compensation Management, a book that explores key aspects of employee remuneration and performance-linked pay structures. His latest contribution, An Introduction to Financial Literacy, co-authored with Dr. Zainab Farooqui, is specially designed for B.Com students of Ranchi University. This book aims to equip young learners with the essential knowledge and tools needed to navigate today’s complex financial environment with confidence and responsibility.

Dr. Zainab Farooqui is a distinguished academic and researcher with a deep interest in the fields of finance, human resource management, and organizational behaviour. A Gold Medalist in her intermediate, Dr. Farooqui has demonstrated consistent academic excellence and a strong commitment to research and scholarship.

She is currently serving as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi, where she is engaged in advanced academic projects and interdisciplinary research. Her analytical insight and dedication to bridging academic theory with real-world relevance make her a valuable contributor to the academic community.

Dr. Farooqui has co-authored the book Compensation Management with Dr. Gaurav Srivastava, and her collaboration continues with their latest work, An Introduction to Financial Literacy. This book is specially crafted for B.Com students of Ranchi University and aims to build a strong foundation in financial awareness and decision-making.
