Shrivarda Malge is a distinguished scholar, educator, and environmental advocate, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Distance and Online Education at Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek. With a strong academic foundation and a versatile skill set, Ms. Malge has made significant contributions in both the fields of Sanskrit and Science.
She is pursuing a PhD in Sanskrit Grammar and holds the prestigious UGC NET qualification for Sanskrit. A gold medalist in her M.A. in Sanskrit from KKSU University, She earned the distinction of being the university topper, receiving eight gold medals for her academic excellence. Her multidisciplinary academic background also includes an M.Sc in Microbiology and a B.Sc in Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Chemistry from Rashtrasanta Tukadoji Maharaja Nagpur University, where she was the college topper.
Shrivarda Malge’s teaching expertise extends across multiple languages, including Sanskrit, Marathi, Hindi, and English, allowing her to reach a diverse range of students. Her contributions to education go beyond classroom teaching, as she plays key roles in curriculum design, examination coordination, and international academic collaborations.
A recipient of the prestigious Paninian Award and Babasaheb Apte Award, she has also actively contributed to Samskrita Bharati, conducting spoken Sanskrit camps in India and abroad. Her commitment to spreading the knowledge of Sanskrit includes teaching children in Balkendram, as well as young adults in Sanskrit classes across India, Germany, the USA, and Canada.
Apart from her academic endeavors, Shrivarda Malge is a passionate advocate for environmental awareness. She has delivered numerous lectures in schools and colleges to inspire ecological consciousness and is actively involved in teaching science in rural areas, bridging the gap between traditional knowledge and modern education.
